Initially i was impressed with the owner and the car. The car drove really well on the test drive (having already been warmed up) and was priced well for what it was. I accepted the car and paid for it etc. It wasn't until i started it on my drive 48 hrs later that i noticed the car was overly noisy and the engine was hunting badly. I contacted the seller which wasn't easy and he eventually came to my house with diagnostic equiptment. He showed me there were no faults and suggested the hunting would go as i used the car.It never did or has done. Having looked at the sales agreement i would loose 199 even if he was prepared to take it back.In conclusion i would never had bought the car had he been honest about the hunting and how noisy it was. I am left with a car that isn't suitable for the purpose that i bought it and cannot even sell in good conscience due to the issues it has. He definately saw me comming and unfortunately you'll hear me comming!

Found what looked like a stunning 2008 Volkswagen R32 for sale on pistonheads advertised by gokars,it had a appealing sales advert which included FSH mentioned and no mentioning of any issues at all within the advert. After contacting the number and speaking to Alan I paid a deposit and arranged to have vehicle delivered. Upon delivery I inspected the vehicle to the best of my abilities as I am disabled and paid Alan the balance(in total 8000). After driving for less then an hour the EML light came on and I had it into a local garage the next day. Multiple fault codes where flagged up and after a smoke test it was discovered there was a leak on the exhaust. Alan agreed to take the car back to rectify the problems. During this period I asked if I could return the vehicle and receive a full refund as the car was not as described in the advert to which he refused. the issue was found that 2 exhaust flexis were in terrible condition but were fixed. The day after receiving the car back the car developed more issues and was told by Alan I could either bring it back or take it local to a garage to have diagnosis done again. I took it to a local garage and after a short while I was contacted by the garage to come and have a look at there findings,what I was shown absolutely shocked me. As well as Multiple new fault codes they showed me that the fuse box terminals were completely rusted and full of corrosion. They then showed me the rear axle and chassis that is completely rotten and rusted all throughout,the garage said they are surprised it is even holding together. Since then I have been unable to reach Alan via email,phone,txt. I have now discovered that his name is not even Alan it is David kay(can provide photo proof)and the address of gokars is subject to multiple businesses being dissolved over the years. I would advise under no conditions should anyone purchase a vehicle from this company given the absolutely disgraceful condition of the vehicle and the misleading information of not just the vehicles but the person trying to sell them.

I recently bought a Seat Leon from GoKars. The vehicle was no where near the standard expected from a dealer who's website say they do a 60 point vehicle check. I certainly didn't expect to drive home from the dealer with the exhaust bouncing round because the hanger had broke, tyres which were supposed to be replaced which hadn't been and a ticking noise from the engine when warm. GoKars offered to look at these issues but after taking it to our local garage for their opinion we asked to return the car which is when things took a turn for the worse. If you buy from here assume you are buying private as if you want to return your car it will be very difficult and costly, we had a very stressful 10 days and lost 225. The emails I recieved from GoKars became very personal telling me I wanted to return the car because I changed my mind and also emailing our garage. Before we agreed on terms ro return the car GoKars cancelled the extra warranty I paid for without our permission leaving me with a car with no warranty! I felt I could have taken further but just wanted to see an end to the situation. On the plus side when we returned the car the son Thomas met us. He was a real delight to deal with, his father could learn a lot from him.

"Drives like a car with half the milage and half the age" is certainly an accurate description of the Celica I brought from here nearly 2 months ago. Starts every time, working AC and other electrics, spotless leather interior, nippy engine and gearbox, only thing that reveals its 16 years old is the license plate. Guy I spoke with was honest about the issues this car does have, including signs of spring corrosion, a scuff on the front bumper, and the center console having a hole in it. These things don't cost much to fix mind, and are mostly aesthetic. Gradually getting there in my own time. All this, and it was dirt cheap too. What more could I ask for? Only issue here is it's going to take a lot of work to take as good care of it as others have!
