Id give them 0 if I could. I asked for an IVA just for me when my ex took loans out in my name and I couldnt afford the repayment. He talked me in to getting it joint as the debt collectors were still coming to our door. I reluctantly put him on it. He left and i asked them to split it, I didnt want to be paying his debts off. Hannover decided not to listen and now Ive paid it off they tell me they never did that. So as well as raising four kids on my own and not getting a penny towards them Ive been paying his debts off for him too. To add insult to injury, one of my debts were written off two year ago and theyve still been paying them too. Dont get an IVA, agree a payment plan with your lenders and if you cant definitely dont use these to help you.

great start and reassuring that i was doing the right thing. now as my IVA payments finish. they ask for more money to close my agreement. THIS IS AFTER I RING TO ASK IF THEY NEEDED ANYTHING FROM ME AS MY LAST PAYMENT CAME NEAR. - i was assured no and it would be forwarded to closures. (upon checking it is stated in my agreement there would be an equity payment required so fair enough) I have emailed with no response EVER .... called several times to hear several different answers - i've been trying to ascertain if, when, the extra payment is made. will i be free of the IVA then, only to be given different answer by three different people, most recently spoken to insensitively that it is all down to creditors decision so not guaranteed that this extra 1k+ they want will actually end my IVA at all! after 6 years! if this is the truth, then finally i got it, but my god. this is such a disorganized show its made me seriously doubt how genuine this company is. They seem to be in with credit-fix now so i would seriously reconsider going down this road. I hate doing things like this but i just want to be treated fairly & spoken to honestly, and if this is what it takes to maybe get a response or to save someone making the same mistake i made. then so be it.

my i v a was fully paid off in february 2023 and thankfully i changed my debit card because they tried to take a payment today(20/3) when i phoned customer services they were meant to put me through to their payment department but I kept being redirected to the main menu as when you phone them, they said it was technical difficulties,i feel i have been conned and my creditors won't get a penny from hanover,so please take my advice,if you pay by either debit card or standing order once your i v a is paid change your debit card and cancel the standing order so they can't get anymore money from you,and when i email customer services no one bothers to reply.
