I have paid a substantial amount into my funeral plan, but Empathy went into administration in 2022. I was told that I could either transfer my plan to their arranged successor, 'Dignity' or claim my money back. I continually phoned and was told the administration contractor would be in touch. I've heard nothing, and now Empathy's phones are no longer answered. Its a disgrace.

Shocked that they are still operating, they are transferring the pre paid plans to Dignity..who is regulated by the FCA

The company has closed down with a short automated message to that effect when I ring the 0345 number as advised. Dignity cannot accept my plan as was intended, so I seem to have no cover at the moment. Perhaps this is happening behind the scenes but there has been no communication.
