Got through this afternoon to a receptionist named Dianne. I dont really leave reviews especially bad ones! But in this instant I was left baffled with the attitude I received from this receptionist. I asked if there was by any chance if an appointment was available by chance although it was 4pm at this point to which understandably she said no, I would have took this into consideration had I not been able to get to my next question; as I was speaking she rudely interrupted and asked me to call back tomorrow morning at 8 with no heart in her tone of voice I couldnt even ask for appropriate signpost for on the day help that may have been available to me. I called a pharmacy before making this call to the gp to not waste valuable gp time. They could not assist further as I am pregnant and they cannot issue eye drops for an eye infection without a gp reviewing me first. Cut the long story short for this job you need empathy and sometimes an ear to listen before jumping to or shud I say fobbing off a patient without hearing their needs. You should be ashamed as this could have been a cancer patient wanting advice or a poorly baby or something that may have needed a gp attention. You are in a care setting environment you cant learn this role off a script. Please provide further training to this member of staff as I will be taking this further!

This is the worst medical practice ever!! My husband has had a severe problem for a MONTH. He went to give samples in and they still havent got back to him as they claim they have the results but a doctor needs to give them to him. How is a doctor supposed to give it to him when appointments are booked for the next two weeks!!! Hes in severe pain and waiting makes us more anxious it will lead to further problems frown the line .They could at least give the results and put our minds at ease. Weve been waiting a month for an appointment ringing every morning at 8am and the through tour the day with no availability. Its utterly a joke. They have no basic concern or care for human beings and should be held accountable !!! Very upset by this service

I moved here from another Ashton GP. This surgery is far better! I've always found the reception team polite. I'm now in my 50s and the docs are more interested in me... I have no issues with Telephone Consultations, though I would prefer they be close (within 10 mins) to the booking time.

Reception are always nice, its the doctors who dont listen that I have a problem with. Ive been suffering from extreme fatigue, and an insane amount of pain for a long time now. Its gotten to a point where i barely leave the house, miss most important events, and extremely fed up. The doctors have blatantly ignored everything I have told them, they seem to only deal with the easy cases. They are also convinced being young excludes you from being unwell. Do not use this doctors, they will ruin your health.
