        Ashtead library is my local public library. My children and I go there once in every month. The librarians here are very experienced and courteous ladies. The automated book borrowing and returning system is quite convenient and quick. The staff are very helpful in finding books and reserving items. They are kind too. The library has a very good collection of books from most of the categories. The fiction section is really vast and has a big large print section too. The reading room is quiet and really conducive to reading and is suitably located inside the reference area. The history and travel sections have a great collection of books. The childrens reading and library section is quite nice and warm for kids to choose their books and DVDs of interest and sit there and read with kids chairs, tables, and colouring area etc. There are enough computers and printers in this library for the public to use for emailing, browsing, and printing and photocopying documents. The weekly peep program run in this library is really useful for infants and young parents.
