Beth was wonderful helping me navigate the journey preparing for my sisters cremation & service. This was done with me a few thousand miles away in America. Beth provided information & sympathetic support through the entire process & was very responsive throughout. I could not have done this without her & was glad I had the chance to finally meet her when I came over to the UK for the service. Adam was very kind & professional also when we were at the crematorium.

Beth (of Alan Greenwood & Sons Ashtead) could not have done more, or been more amazing, in supporting us through this most difficult time for the family. With nothing but sincerity and care, she guided us through our first ever minefield of planning and organising a funeral from start to finish to ensure we provided our Mother / in law with exactly what she and we wanted and needed. The whole process was made vastly more bearable due to Beths truly kind and caring demeanour and fantastic knowledge of knowing exactly what we needed, even when we didnt ourselves! Beth arranged my fathers funeral and more recently my mothers funeral. She was extremely helpful and kind, whilst efficiently dealing with all the arrangements. She made sad times more bearable with her fantastic support. I would recommend Alan Greenwood and Sons to anyone. Mark G

The Ashtead branch - Beth couldn't have been more helpful in organising our family funeral. She listened to our requests and made sure it was special and personal to us. Her professionalism and kindness made it all easier to deal with.

I had no experience of grief and was utterly unprepared for the storm of pain that hit our family when my husband died in October 2020. But meeting Beth at Alan Greenwood in Ashtead gave my boys and me a little haven of peace to plan for his funeral. Beth was incredibly kind and compassionate; she took time to listen to our feelings and wishes and helped us turn them into a plan which meant we achieved our perfect good byes, despite us not knowing anything about this process just weeks before, and despite the restrictions and uncertainties of the COVID environment. With Beths gentle guidance, we chose the perfect coffin and flowers, the most beautiful resting place, the right church. Working with Beth was not just about planning the funeral Alan Greenwood looked after Peter for a couple of weeks. During this time, we knew he was treated with dignity. He was there, not far from us, and it was comforting. Little details allowed us to feel involved, and make his final journey softer and personal. Beth showed us kindness and empathy at the most painful of times. I am grateful and full of admiration for the work she does for our community. Thank-you from all of us.
