        From late spring through summer, it's absolutely magical. You'll hear several species of warblers, you'll see deer if you're lucky, and there are some ancient oak trees worth saying hello to. Outside of those times, it gets very waterlogged, and even major paths (going by the OS map) are impassable unless you're in wellies. You're better off sticking to the eastern end (Bridleway 38 is pretty sturdy) or neighbouring Epsom Common (or Bookham, a bit further afield).
