We spent a few days at Rectory farm over the Easter break and werent disappointed. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, Mike and his family were amazing hosts, they were so welcoming and friendly! The children loved feeding the lambs and being shown the piglets. Fresh produce including farm reared eggs, pork and lamb meant we didnt go without and lets not forgot the home made sausages rolls! which all tasted fantastic! The site is centrally located for touring the local area with Gloucester, Ledbury and Tewkesbury all within easy reach. The site itself has a number of well maintained grass pitches with electric hookups along with the basic amenities but also includes a fridge for campers. If you dont mind walking across the fields, the local pub is 10 minutes away, but look out for Dave the Swan! Also just down the road is Georges bakery for any fresh bread or pastries you might need.

We love coming here, it is a family run site on a working farm. From the minute you get there you are made to feel welcome. The camping area is flat, there are electric hook ups for those who need it. The facilities are comprised of one shower, one toilet, one dishwashing sink, so if you do not like waiting or mixed gender facilities, this will not be for you. However, there is a static caravan for rent for those who prefer privacy and do not want to camp. Farm products can be purchased and ice-cream. There is a bus stop just outside and the bus will take you into Gloucester, or if you are more energetic,a couple of hours and you can walk in. There is a bakery, service station, shop, post office, a couple of pubs and a restaurant all within approximately 30 mins walking distance. This place is fantastic if you want a no frills quiet place to go.
