V Gormans Fish and Chips

I highly recommend the Pie special...as it is very special. Great quality, meaty pie. Tasty Gravy and magnificent mushy peas. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, a special shout to Lindsey who is really helpful.

The most outstanding fish and chip shop Ive ever been to. Decided to go as had heard rave reviews and I was not disappointed! Ordered cod and chips which was fresh and hot with delicious crispy batter. Also had with homemade tartar sauce which was devine. Generous portions and very friendly service. Will absolutely be back next time I am passing.

This is our fish and chip shop we love the quality of the food is always outstanding, fresh homemade and the finest ingredients used in there products its a beautiful chip shop with the best team of staff always so friendly and kind and polite to customers the owner are absolutely beautiful people who always have the time of day for there customers keep up the fantastic work you guys and thank you for the best food ever x Parking: Ideal location always get parked no bother at all

Absolutely gorgeous. We had 2 cod bites and chips and chicken nuggets and chips with mushy peas, curry sauce and batter bits all from the lunchtime menu. The cod bites are huge and the fish is gorgeous, really chunky. The chips were beautifully cooked and the potatoes used are full of flavour. My daughter loves the chicken nuggets and especially the mushy peas and curry sauce. Whilst it's a lunchtime special menu, the portions are of good size. The staff are always really happy and the lady who served me today (Saturday 29th April 2023)is a real credit to the business as is the lady who was frying, batter was perfect. There are a lot of fish and chips around this area and I think I have been to most of them. I found this little gem in lockdown as it was the only chippy open and it was beautiful, I always come to Gormans even though there are others on my doorstep. Total quality and quantity all round. Keep up the good work.
