        I was working in the area so needed somewhere close. This was honestly the best place Ive stayed in 2 years of working away twice a week. A proper northern pub with a very comfortable room. The staff were friendly and accommodating. What looked like locals of the pub were friendly and said hello/ goodbye . Will definitely be booking again the next time Im in the area. Fantastic
