        Paul and his team are very approachable and went above and beyond to help me understand my options, what the process would be, pricing, timescale, etc. I'm generally quite wary of letting tradesmen in my house without me in the same room, but I actually felt confident enough to leave Paul and Ben to do their thing while I shut myself upstairs to work. Both them and Paul's wife who does the paperwork side are very knowledgeable and deal with any queries and worries professionally and in a friendly manner. When a panel arrived with a slight scratch, Paul reassured us that he would get it sorted straight away and a few weeks later they came to replace the panel with no quibbles. As a fellow construction family, we are wary of recommending other trades to customers incase they reflect badly on our business. We have however happily recommended Mr Pilcher to several of our customers with no doubt that he will do as good a job for them as he has done for us.         As is sadly the case with most tradespeople, everything is fine until something goes wrong. Paul was well priced and a delight until I noticed a scratch on one of my windows following installation the same day. Paul's reaction was extremely unprofessional, he came to my property and in an aggressive manner, denied all accountability (when the cause was clearly due to the working party), placing blame on me. After a lengthy exchange, he finally agreed to replace the scratched unit. I have since moved so I feel comfortable submitting my review. Service: Double pane window installation & replacement
