Just been to this shop. I am not impressed at all. Firstly the young man was serving a young girl. While he was chatting her up I was left standing outside in the rain. Yes, he was chatting her up because he was laughing and joking with her after he had served her. I then went in and his tone completely changed. He didn't even reply when I said 'hello'. Next he refused to mend my granddaughters shoe 'because of the state of it'. (Had I have known my granddaughter put it in the bag dirty I'd have cleaned it before I left home, but still). I asked if he had something that I might use to wipe the shoe over he said no. At this point he was holding a bottle of cleaner in his had. I went into Tescos to clean the shoe in the little girls room. When I came back the shop was locked up.He had gone to get his lunch but not left a note on the door. Again, I was left in the rain. Eventually he came back. Again I said hello, again nothing. While he was mending the shoe an elderly gentleman arrived. I moved over so he could come in from the rain. We got chatting. I paid for my shoe and the man carried on with a joke he was telling. We were then very rudly interrupted by the man working behind the counter. He didn't just ask what the man wanted he actually raised his voice while the joke was being told. Had he waiting all of 5 seconds our conversation would have finished and I'd have left the shop. As I made my way back to my car I heard the elderly man getting a telling off for not completely closing the shop door. So basically don't go there if it's raining or if you're over 25 years of age and a male. Don't give him anything slightly dirty and if someone else comes in the shop then don't talk to them while your key is being cut or your shoe mended. I will not be going back there.
