About a year and a half ago, my wife and I decided to get the ensuite updated, as there was a leak from old tiles in the shower, and it was looking a bit drab. Matt came round, super positive and very friendly, and displayed a good helpful knowledge of what items would suit the project, and made some good suggestions. It was a good well-written quote, very important to us. When the project started, his lads were really friendly, respectful and tidy. I liked the way Matt oversees the project by WhatsApp videos and pictures. Halfway through the job, there was a panic because my wife and I hadn't thought through our colour choice properly, and only when confronted by it, did we realise. Matt was able to sort this, due to his experience and quick thinking, and we ended up with a project that I would say I was 99% really happy with. There were a few fine details in the finish I was personally a little disappointed with, tiny little defects or bits not wiped properly, that played on my mind for a bit, and stopped me writing a review, as I was unconvinced it was worth being negative about. A year later, we'd grown to love the room, and realised it was very cleverly arranged, and well thought out in terms of accessories, and by then, I'd wiped or cleaned the bits that had initially bothered me a touch. However, we realised a slow leak was happening, and although a year had passed, I thought in a panic I would call Matt out, and see what he said might be the problem. The relief that he came by the house really quickly, and put right what had happened, even though arguably it was just bad luck rather than anything the lads had done wrong, was immeasurable. That's what you pay a good company for. We were not left to our own devices, when it mattered. I would be really happy to use Positive Plumbing again for any similar project. We used them for our master bathroom. Turned it from a wet room into a lovely bath and shower. Even worked hard to accommodate the small space by advising in specialist tub and sink unit. Tiling was great too. I'd recommend them to anyone.
