Ashford Karate Jutsu Kai

This Karate club far exceeds all expectations. Its a very welcoming family with strong traditional Karate roots. All 3 of my kids are now part of this club an absolutely love it! Kids/adults can learn so much here, from all traditional striking/guards/katas etc to tuning in on your spirit, endurance and working as a team. Without a doubt my kids are learning solid life skills and getting true confidence, resiliance and respect from the benefits this club has to offer.i cannot recommend this club enough!

My Children have been part of The Ashford Karate Jutsu Kai family for the past 5 Years. All 3 of them have grown so much under the guidance of all the instructors. We started the kids there for fitness but didnt realise how much they would get from being part of this club. This isnt a club where there give away belts for nothing they expect the children and adults to work hard but with that hard work comes reward. The instructors spend so much time working with the students to make sure they pick up techniques and styles. They are also taught a lot about respect and all of their confidence has grown. This isnt like some clubs that seem to be setup for profit. The instructors were all former students of the club and it is one big family. Pre lockdown they had camps in Scotland and family days out. I cant imagine Karate not being part of my kids lives. Since lockdown they have continued With zoom classes and my children cannot wait to get back to group sessions. My son and daughter have been attending for some years now. My son lacked confidence and has a lot of struggles remembering things due to severe dyslexia and dyspraxia. With learning sequences and routines he has grown in confidence and self esteem. He enjoys every session without fail.... comes with a sense of pride and determination. My daughter joined due to wanting to learn self defence. She walks a fair distance alone to and from school with confidence. She has passion and cant wait to get back with her karate friends. Hoping my youngest daughter will follow and join as I know she very much enjoys the zoom lessons. Cant thank you all enough for all you support and they both very lucky to be apart of your club.
