I stay at hotels often (particularly Hilton) but after this experience it will be my last. Very rude receptionist Irena, fail to inform you of the deposit and parking situation upon booking, we specifically booked as a group of 4 as we were promised rooms next to each other which was not the case. Corridors and rooms smell like sewage. Rooms are small and very old, bird poo stains all over the window, we asked for a nice room and were happy to pay more for it but were given a view of a petrol station. Our experience was so bad that we will not be returning to any Hilton hotel. I recommend Hythe Imperial Golf and Spa down the road who offer stunning deluxe and executive rooms with polite staff and excellent customer service. Staying at this awful place for tonight and then will spend the next two weeks over there. Poor rooms, awful customer service, very rude staff. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I stay in hotels weekly for work. If you are thinking of staying for even one night, do yourself a favour and just drive home or sleep in the car. EDIT: Hythe Imperial actually offers Sea View rooms for 90 as the moment and standard rooms for 62 which is cheaper than this hotel, if we had booked at that time it was only 13 difference per night. If you listen back to the booking call which should be recorded, the operator didnt mention any deposit and they did promise us rooms beside each other.

Superb standard, clean well designed tooms amd lobby areas and breakfast was cooked increadibly well. Staff were happy and offered good service where needed. The room on the first floor had little noise pollution from the street or other rooms but it wasn't completely silent. This did not detract from the quality of finish in the rooms and the cleanliness when I checked in. The gym was clean and well stocked with equipment. Car park was 12.50 from check in till 11am next day. There was plenty of space and easy to find. Breakfast had a huge range from full cooked, waffles, cold continental, pastries and various allergy related offerings such as gluten free and dairy alternatives. The location in Ashford is close to the station and main roads into the town. There is a LIDL supermarket 3 minutes walk accross the road as well as a great craft brewery.
