The fact that you are reading this probably means you are conducting your due diligence and are thinking of doing some sort of business with this company, either as a candidate or as a client. My one word piece of advice, which is applicable if you are either of these is quite simply DON'T! I was dragged off a contract to attend 2 interviews with these people at the HR Go Dudley office, at a cost of approximately 150 in lost earnings, for a position that didn't exist and for which they knew from the start didn't exist at their 'Birmingham' office. This is disgusting behaviour from what is meant to supposedly be a professional agency, having worked in recruitment for a number of years I realise some unscrupulous agencies DO advertise jobs that don't exist in order to attract candidates to canvass out, these however take it to the edge and then some. Thankfully there are plenty of other agencies out there that are professional with ethics and integrity, just do yourself a favour if you're a candidate or a client looking for staff and ignore these cowboys. 1 star is way to generous but it seems I can't give 0 stars! In response to the owners reply to my original review (I don't know who it is as it doesn't give a name, I doubt if it would be Jack Parkinson though) my beef isn't the fact that I didn't get the job as not everyone who attends every job interview will get offered the roles they've interviewed for. My grievance is the fact that there wasn't a job there IN THE FIRST PLACE. On more than 1 occasion I asked when the 'Birmingham' office would be opening and was told it was all ready to go, contracts were in place and it was quite literally ASAP, and this was by people in authority within the company. To be then told well actually there isn't even a 'Birmingham' office ready to open in the foreseeable future was the final kick in the guts and that is why I've written this review and given the company 1 star. All of this prompts the obvious questions; if there wasn't a 'Birmingham' office all along, why was I lied to and told there was and why was I approached and interviewed for a position that the company knew didn't exist from the word go? All of this could have been avoided if HR Go had been straight with me from day one yet they weren't, if they aren't straight with someone who has expressed a genuine interest in working for them how straight will they be with candidates and clients who they'll make money from? I leave that to any neutrals reading this to decide on......
