        Not enough staff. When trying to pay money in at counter told to use machines. Tried machines,asked for assistance and even staff couldn't help. Never able to print off statements as either machine not working or run out of paper.

        Dreadful service in Oldham branch that is self service but has staff also who are rude, unhelpful and do not know how their own systems or processes work. Wasted an entire Saturday morning because of the sheer incompetence and unwillingness of staff to help or communicate. Simply dreadful.

        Trying to remortgage. They were useless. Junior staff, standard responses, sending me to use the telephone services whilst knowing perfectly well that I can't get through due to waiting times. No effort made to offer alternative course of action. Should be shut down. Unfit for purpose as is the online remortgage system and the telephone system that does not distinguish between fixed rate and variable rate customers. Very poor service from this branch and from Barclays overall at this time.
