Echelforde Care Home - Care UK

I went to visit this home as a possibility for my mum , but although I was told its not now a nursing home, I wasnt told that it was all dementia patients now. The website didnt reflect either of these things. I was told it needs to be amended. Its such a shame as I was really impressed with the set up when I arrived today. The home was colourful and clean, very bright and open. Just the place I was thinking for mum with her arthritic knees. Shes totally on the ball mentally and needs stimulation despite being 93. So I was so disappointed that this lovely home wasnt suitable for my mum. I gave it 4* because of the issue with the website and despite calling, I wasnt told.

A great ,calm, beautiful home full of care and kindness.There is effective, professional ,well run and excellent staff at echelforde, where nothing is too much trouble .There is always activities for the residents who always seem so happy. My grandfather always looks happy and content and well looked after with his appearance i;e his hygiene,his clothes clealiness and health. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. I really cant say enough good things about this home and the atmosphere of home is that the residents always come first

Amazing place. My Mom is here and her every needs are met with kindness, care and sincerity. Honestly I cannot fault Echelforde, I am very happy that shes there. I agree with a previous reviewer, the staff do deserve medals
