Studholme Medical Centre

Honestly, it can be hard to get an appointment sometimes but Ive always had lovely receptionist answer & the doctors Ive been in contact with have always listened to me and have been very supportive. Once you get an appointment through the online thing & actually get seen I cant fault them. Overall its a lovely practice :)

Getting through the worst system set up ever to get medical help. Convoluted system that cuts off at an unknown time.Good doctors when you can get to see them.

Rude receptionists who make you feel like youre wasting their time wanting to actually see a Dr. Receptionists making decisions on the health of a child with no medical background whatsoever. What a joke and embarrassment the surgery is to the NHS.

I'm astounded by the replies to people's reviews here! Are these replies genuinely from Studholme? because there are a lot of extremely unprofessional replies. Update following reply to me: it seems the replies are Obviously not from the practice owner / manager..

I have a chronic condition and get regular chest infections due to it. I cannot get an appointment sooner than 2 weeks notice between filling out the form and talking to a doctor on the phone who simply tells me I need to see a GP in person. This usually means that if I get a chest infection I have a minimum of a week off of work, and by the time I can get any medication I'm past the worst of it. They are quick to say how many patients they have whenever I have complained, but it seems like their system is designed to discourage anyone from actually seeking medical care.
