We cannot thank Richard Down enough for the help and support what was a difficult process when trying to buy our first home in covid times. He continued to keep us up to date and let us know what he needed from us and what he was doing making sure we were always kept in the loop. I cannot thank Richard Down enough for all his hard work in organising my mortgage. My situation was very complicated with a split from wife, a second mortgage and a global pandemic in the middle of it all! I tried other mortgage brokers and providers only to be told a second mortgage in my situation was not possible. Richard said straight away he could help and his confidence was not misplaced. He found me a second mortgage at a great rate and very low deposit of just 10%! Throughout the whole process Richard Down was professional, friendly, efficient and nothing was ever too much trouble. After being told by several broker we couldn't get a mortgage, a friend recommended Stewart Financial to us. We got in contact and Richard Down took his time to understand our situation. After a couple of day came back to us with a mortgage offer. Throughout the whole process Richard was always happy to take our calls and Answer our questions. Definitely call him when the time comes to remortgage.
