My mum spent the last 6 months of her life at Fernleigh. The staff are amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they made my family feel very welcome. From a cup of tea and a giggle to a hug and shared tears. I cannot thank them enough for the love and respect they gave to my mum, something I will never forget xxxx

Our beloved Mum went into Fernleigh at the very end of her life. If only we had known about it earlier. The care, dedication and general happiness is unbelievable. Nothing was too much trouble - and you definitely felt welcome. Mum wasn't able to appreciate everything done for her, as sadly she had gone past that stage, but her four daughters could. It may not have the latest plastic chairs, the staff in sparkly pink uniforms and five stars for posh sandwiches, this is a place for elderly people and is made to feel like home from home.
