3 stars because prices have gone through the roof for dry cleaning. Also I drove over here to get here 10 minutes before it closed and the staff had obviously gone home 10 minutes early. That's fine but annoying as a wasted trip I only wanted to drop off dry cleaning. Closing time advertised on Google is also different than the closing time on the door. So someone should fix that.

Shocking. Took my jacket as was going to a wedding. My jacket did not come back on time, only to find out they had ruined it. The sore manager was not very helpful and did not take responsibility for his store. Quite rude and was not his fault he says. Won't use again

Well done to Sharon who has restored our faith and confidence in Johnsons. We took our hand made curtains (cost circa 2500 new) into Johnsons Ashby de la Zouch (we use this branch regularly for duvets, curtains, voils etc) but were disappointed with the stand in person for Sharon (told Sharon is on holiday). It was almost as if the stand in woman did not want our business, in point of fact I asked "Don't you want to do them" (curtains). I informed her that we are aware they have to go away for specialist cleaning and can take up to 3 weeks. Her answer: "We don't do specialist cleaning". We left the curtains anyway and received a text the next day to advise "ready to collect". Upon arrival to collect we met the staff member from the previous day. She informed us they had been cleaned on site??? Upon inspection at home, we examined. The fabric felt sticky and did not have that usual fresh smell after cleaning. A week or so later we took a duvet in for cleaning and was pleased to be greeted by Sharon. Superb attitude. We explained the curtains scenario. Sharon asked us to bring the curtains back to examine. We did this a few days later. Sharon agreed with our comments and arranged specialist recleaning. We have just collected and must say: what a difference in finish. Sharon's professionalism, friendly manner and caring handling are exemplary. Her actions alone will ensure we will remain customers. D&D a.k.a Griffiths.

Called in to post a Hermes parcel. Was asked to use the hand sanitizer, which was on the counter, before I started then used the small touch screen unit to pay and print a label. Only very minor criticism would be that there were no scales available to way the parcel so I had to guess. Otherwise very good, would recommend.
