We recently had the pleasure of staying in the one bedroom cottage at Homefield Farm. Our stay was absolute perfection! Homefield Farm offers the very best of the English countryside. From the moment we drove up the driveway and saw the setting of this farm, it was love at first sight! We were made to feel so welcome straight away by the owners, we loved that it is a family run business. It was evident as soon as we stepped through the front door just how much love and attention to detail had gone into making Homefield Farm a beautiful holiday cottage. The cottage had everything we could have wished for! The layout was ideal and perfect for a couple like us. Everything was really high quality in the cottage and although it was cosy, it still felt spacious due to the layout and stunning dcor. It was clear the owners had an eye for design with the impressive furniture and fixtures located throughout the cottage. We particularly loved the super comfy couch and bed. Not to mention all the artwork and stunning table in the kitchen. My husband noted that the extra soft bath towels and mat were an added bonus too. The kitchen was a really good size with all the facilities we needed and more. I also really liked the different recycling bins located in the kitchen and the wifi details chalkboard located near the front door, everything was so well organised throughout the property. One aspect I had not really expected was just how impressive the farm and its land would be. We stayed in the Autumn and all the coloured trees and low sun made for a stunning backdrop. The lake directly at the rear of the cottage was the icing on the cake. It created such a calming environment and it was particularly stunning at night with the water feature and majestic sky. We had no idea Lincolnshire was the perfect location for stargazing, we had never seen a sky quite like it. We could not recommend our stay at Homefield Farm highly enough. The dreamy location combined with the gorgeous cottage and lovely owners made it a holiday we will always remember. Thank you to all at Homefield Farm for making it such a memorable stay.
