Just dont go there. So sad this previously well run family owned home has been ruined since was sold to Garrard homes and renamed Ashburton House. Cant think of a single redeeming feature. After many months of trying to give them time to improve, we had to remove my mother urgently, and she is now thriving in another establishment

My father had 6 night respite in Ashburton house. He had to slept in his wheelchair the whole stay,as promise after promise of getting a firm mattress was not met. Every day he asked and the manager Dale was disrespectful,condescending and down right rude to my father. His bandage on his leg smelt awful coming out of there,as had not been changed A bed to sleep on is basic need not forfilled by this'carehome'. I would not recommend this place to anyone...disgraceful

Mother was a resident at St Andrews for three years. I was happy with the standard of care they gave her and how they managed the health issues that meant we couldn't keep her at home with us anymore. Looking back it was the right thing to do to put her here.
