Unfortunately, my experience was extremely negative. I had confirmed my appointment via telephone the day prior, and upon arriving for my scheduled x-ray, I was asked to wait in another room after an hour. Later, the receptionist informed me that the x-ray machine was not functioning, despite my long wait. As a result, I requested a refund for the service. As I was leaving, the chiropractor attempted to explain that he had been attending to a boy who had been in an accident instead. However, I was disappointed that none of this had been communicated to me beforehand, as I had driven 1.5 hours and urgently required the x-ray. I am still awaiting my refund, which they reluctantly agreed to provide me for the session that did not occur.

I have been taking my son to the chiropractor here since early March. He is severely autistic, non-verbal with learning difficulties, and has epilepsy. I decided to take him as he had a strange gait when walking, would hold his head to one side, and had bad posture. I myself like receiving treatment here for painful back, shoulders, and vertigo, and it has helped me greatly. Since the pandemic, my sons sleeping patterns changed drastically due to the change in his daily routine, and he would get up at all hours of the night. The treatment he has been receiving here over the last 4 weeks has helped to improve his sleep most nights. To put it in context, he was getting up at midnight or 1am, and now he sleeps until 5am or 6am. There is also an improvement in his concentration levels, posture, and demeanor. He enjoys going to his treatments and his chiropractor, Firas, has a great rapport with him. Firas is very understanding, patient, and kind, and my son responds really well to him; he's always smiling, follows his instructions, and tolerates his adjustments without any problems. I cannot thank Firas enough for the changes he has made in my son, and the positive impact it has made on him and my family. Ryan and Rita are also so kind, and Rita does a great job accommodating my sons appointments around his routine. They are a great team. I would highly recommend this treatment centre for anyone with or without a disability or complex needs.

I can only highly recommend optimal spine. They are very knowledgeable, professional and care about your actual issues. Initially I just went regarding my hip. I had a hip fracture about 17 years ago due to a car accident where I was the front passenger, on the side where the other car went into at about 50 m/h. I was lucky. Due to wearing my seatbelt I "only" fractured my left hip and my left collarbone. There was not operation. I just had to "move" and get on with it and I had my arm in a sling. The hip was fracture all the way on the left side. I did a lot of exercise at the time before the accident and for some reason the NHS didn't think I needed any physio or exercises when I was released after 2 weeks from hospital. I went privately to a physio and got my exercises to do that helped me with the covery and strengthened my muscles around that area. Nevertheless it left me a bit "twisted" in the hip area which caused discomfort and back pain but I managed it with exercise and massages. After a few months at optimal spine I feel much better. My spine in the shoulder, neck, upper back area requires alignment as well which made sense as I had a lot of tightness and pain at times in that area. It definitely helped with that too. Most important I do not feel that I am "twisted" anymore. Firas is very knowledgeable. He cares about his clients and after every session I feel better. I do actually really look forward to the adjustments! A couple of weeks ago I did something to my lower back. One of those things where you don't know how it actually happened, just one move but I was not able to stand up straight without being in pain. Firas asked a few questions before he did his adjustments and he put it back where it should be! It was amazing! It was still a bit sore and I iced it after the adjustment but the next day I was nearly as good as new and I was standing up straight without pain. The rehab sessions with Ryan are very good and help me to improve by addressing my weaknesses with specific exercises. From both I get "homework" to do and suggestions to help with daily life and the issues coming from sitting at a desk all day during the working week. Rita at reception is very helpful, professional and a real asset. She has a great personality and always brings a smile to my face. The only negative part is that it is not covered by the NHS and has to be covered privately. For me it is financially a real burden. I wish I could do all the required sessions to make me better now and for the future without having this financial restrictions. It is not a quick fix and does require several months of treatment and dedication.
