My friends and I enjoyed a lovely overnight canoe-camping trip with Nick down the Dart estuary. He knows the good stops for food and took care of us at the campsite with nice cooking and a calm presence. Canoeing wasn't arduous but took us a while to get the steering right! The Estuary is beautiful, with lots of life and flanked by old forests with huge trees. We even saw a couple of seals hunting. Camping was austere as advertised but with the fire-pit and warm food it was very comfortable for us. At the end of the trip everyone was invigorated by the mild-peril adventure and came away tired but glowing.

Have been on a couple of these trips & I must say that they were awesome! The scenery is stunning. The trips were well organised. The equipment great. The guide Nick was informative, experienced & fun to go on the trip with. Highly recommended.

Had a really fantastic weekend led by the wonderful guide + chef Nick! This was an 8 person birthday canoeing and camping adventure from Totnes. Most of us hadn't been canoeing before (we're late 20s -early 30s), nor anything really like this before, and we all absolutely loved it. On the first afternoon we enjoyed a lovely lunch at Sharpham cafe en route, and a leisurely paddle down to the campsite. Each paddling session on the way there was about 1 hour of paddling, nothing too strenuous, although we were a bit achey afterwards, in a good way! We did 2 hours or so on the way back (tide and wind both helping) with a brief stop for water part way, but your group sets the pace, whether you're speedy or more relaxed. Campsite was basic but had a great campfire, and Nick prepared an amazing dinner and breakfast for us all, which was an absolute treat. Scenery the whole way is glorious, we even saw some seals! Overall - thoroughly recommended, we enjoyed every moment of it (even the rain!) and can't wait to go again! Thanks so much Nick!
