The best fish monger and game shop by far .I travelled from Breadsall Derby because its that good, the owner is a great guy very friendly and helpful i could of talked to him all-day and the game is just yum so fresh.

Hi, I know the fish shop well and Mick laughs and jokes with vertually all his customers. I can only assume the negative review is from someone who had a bit of an attitude and Mick in his way tried to laugh the situation off. With modern technology review submissions are anonymous and it makes some people very brave saying things that they would never say normally. Both Mick & Marcus do their best to help & would do anything to assist their customer. Final point - the anonymous person said he would not go back - I am sure if Mick knew who he was then I assume Mick would not particularly want him in his shop anyway!

What a discover! Loved the place, the selection of products and the kindness and courtesy of the owner. Been there for the first time today, but I'm sure I'll became a regular. They have fresh delivery from Tuesday to Friday. You can either pop in the shop to an early visit - which is the best - or give them a call if you are you interested to reserve something. A nice plus is a small selection of well presented game meat such wild boar, venison and pigeon. Already planning another visit!
