        Nice local town pub, visited a number of times this year and in the past, but feels like it needs a good clean as each time I visit the tables are sticky and the carpets too. It would be better not to have a carpeted bar area as it always gives that stale beer smell. Staff are friendly and decor nice, food look like good pub food. Wines are not nice so I would recommend sticking to beer. They have a small beer garden too which is nice. Nice pub.

        Ate here last night & will definitely be back when were in Ashbourne again. Although very busy, staff were polite & friendly, particularly the Landlady. Food was delicious & although quite a long wait due to how busy it was, definitely worth waiting for. Food & drinks: Delicious food.
