discriminatory and unprofessional! Came across Amy's website and thought it was a perfect match. Open in the evening so i could book for after work, local and reasonably priced. looked through the policy section of the website and went through the booking system. At no point was it made clear that this was a female only service. I can understand that is needed sometimes, but i was just looking to get a manicure, but as a largely masculine presenting person this was apparently not possible. A day after i made the booking I received the attached whatsapp from Amy informing me of her policy and that the booking would be cancelled. I understand that Amy operates her buisness from her home, and whilst I dont agree with the discriminatory policy, it would have been more professional to be up front about it, as this cant be the only time this happens. To then add insult to injury, I requested thay the deposit I paid when booking be refunded to my card, I was then informed that this would also not be possible, as her booking system does not supprt this!? If the operator of a buisness wishes to cancel a booking the least they can do is issue a refund through the same method as they took payment. Amy offered to refund via paypal or cash but why should I need to be inconvenienced because of her hidden discrimination.

Amy is a lovely therapist - she is warm, friendly and professIonal. Being an ex beauty therapist myself I am fussy but there is no need to worry with Amy. Shes done my eyebrows and bio gel manicures a few times now and is very thorough. She also has a wonderful selection of gel colours. Thank you Amy, see you soon. :-)x Service: Manicure
