        Food was lovely, service was excellent, However, when it came to drinks, my friend and I ordered what we thought was a single gin and tonic, as stated on the drinks menu, when the bill arrived we had been charged doubles, when we queried it were told that they serve doubles automatically then charge for them, even if one person is driving???? They did amend the bill but we feel that this is out of order. They should have asked if we wanted a single or double first. Serving staff very nice about it and apologised.

        We stopped by for a Sunday roast. Top quality as always. We booked in advance, table was ready on arrival. The ambiance was great with the pub mostly full inside, as usual. Service was prompt, polite and attentive (thanks Linda!).
