        I recently stopped to eat at The Swan and was truly shocked. Firstly we were given a menu for cocktails, after choosing a couple we were told that only one the cocktails on the menu was available because "This isn't the sort of place that does cocktails!" Then we ordered quite possibly the worst food I've ever eaten. The Thai prawn starter consisted of 4 small prawns in a watery liquid which had a tiny bit of sweet chilli sauce in it. The salt and pepper squid sticks were undercooked and didn't resemble squid at all - totally flavourless. Then the most shocking was the "grilled fish" The fish was bland and for some strange reason, was served on top of what appeared to be oven chips - not the crispy fries we'd ordered...In a nutshell, the worst food I've ever eaten in a restaurant- and it cost 55 - not cheap! Avoid if you can.....
