I bought in an old GEC valve radio which I had purchased from a well known website which was in a sorry state in the hope of it being restored. When I came to collect it, I hardly recognised the set. It had a wonderful shine to the bakelite case and the tone is really superb. The shop owner Quentin a thoroughly nice gentleman had complettely transformed it and even built a new back cover which was missing along with most of the valves, dial bulbs etc. It looks and sounds wonderful now and I am spending many happy days listening in to stations I've never heard before Also a very reasonable price. I would also say that I bought a 1930s HMV set from Decographic some 18 years ago and it's working faultlessly. Would highly recommend a visit if you are into vintage wirelesses , radiograms or old vinyl.
