The staff here are obnoxious and not interested in customer service. I arrived at 16:54 on a weekday to pick up a tree that I had discussed with them on the telephone earlier. Three of the staff were engrossed in a conversation laughing and being quite noisy standing just outside the office near the entrance. I stood waiting to catch somebodys eye but they were experts at avoiding me so I walked up to the poly tunnel to pick up the tree myself. I could not easily identify it and while looking, an old lady (member of staff) approached me and said the store closed at 5 and the tills are closed. There were no pleasantries or can I help you? She knew I was there and waited until it was exactly 17:00 before coming to me. I said that I had come to pick up the tree but she cut me off in mid-sentence and said We are closed and leave now. Wow, I felt like a criminal. There are no signs at the entrance advising opening hours and the gates were wide open as was the doorway to the office where they had been having a laugh. They clearly saw me enter, did not want to be bothered to serve and rudely and aggressively threw me out. I have been buying plants from this place for 10+ years and have recommended them to many people despite their very high prices. This will change from now on and I will be strongly recommending to my friends in the local community to avoid them. I shall never return.
