Cockburn's Tea Rooms

An excellent tea room. Spoilt for choice for cakes. The cakes we chose were exquisite. And s good selection of t3as and coffee. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Very dog friendly.

Myself & my husband are regulars of this lovely tearoom. They have the most delicious fresh cakes! Our personal favourites are the farmhouse fruitcake and the amazing Black Forest cake. Great coffees as well as hot chocolates. The sandwiches & chips are very good too. And I cant not mention the mouthwatering Sussex rarebit! The staff are always friendly & welcoming. The worst part is figuring out which came to have as they all look so amazing! Ive not found a tearoom that can rival Cockburns for cakes. Dietary restrictions: They cater for gluten free & vegan customers.

Let down by the cold breeze going through the building - the front door was held (open) by a chain to stop it banging in the wind but unfortunately there was a door or window open at the back creating a through breeze. Cake was lovely though and service was very quick both for it and the coffees.
