Visited for a week on a whist holiday. The accommodation was comfortable & basic. The food was nice, hot & uncomplicated. Both were at a level in line with the inexpensive cost of the holiday. The whist holiday was excellently run. The guesthouse is in a great area for walking & sightseeing. The local village has 2 pubs & various cafes. The guesthouse has lots of parking & nice grounds. The local transport network was troublesome. Trains were regularly cancelled & the M6 was a nightmare. I understand there are no taxis in Arnside. Recommended for an inexpensive quiet holiday.
