        A fabulous hidden gem, great places for food, coffee and a beer. Good trails up to Knott Wood Viewpoint, spacious beaches. You can also get a train to Grange-over-Sands, crossing the Viaduct..

        Converted station building to house AONB offices. Accessible to public for AONB enquiries and cosy inside with interesting info to read. I volunteered here in 2019 and enjoyed being part of the team.

        If visiting Arnside and Silverdale, make a point of doing so via Milnthorpe. The views are fantastic Park up and take it all in. Parking has been made available alongside the shore edge , Very popular ..So much to see and do.
