I would just like to thank Lucy for her help today. As a man of a certain age buying a birthday gift for the better half is an annual challenge. Its difficult when clearly the lady of my life has everything already with me by her side but these events need to be marked with a present that shows how much you care and that thought has been given. Unusually for me I was a little unprepared for the forthcoming day that was nearly upon us! Lucy and Anne had seen my type before and rushed to the rescue. I entered the shop with little to no idea of what to get and left the shop with a few well thought out gifts that I was proud to pass on as my own ideas. Later that evening my dear lady wife opened her presents (suspecting that I may have forgot the big event) and I am happy to say the marriage is to continue for another year and all is good. Seriously whilst the shop may be slightly off the beaten track I would highly recommend for your equestrian and outdoor requirements. Very very helpful and friendly service. Great range of nice looking things I dont have a lot of knowledge about but lovely boots and jackets that seemed very reasonable for the quality and others I have seen since. Nice to be able to buy from an independent shop with people who really care and take an interest in keeping long suffering wives together with husbands that try their best and are brave enough to go beyond the wine, chocolates and flowers or meal at the same restaurant as last year. Note to the wise: Gentleman, take a note of shoe and jacket size and make a trip.
