We stayed in the chaff house cottage and it was lovely. It had all the mod cons needed. The setting was lovely with a lovely 24hr sonnet by the neighbouring cows. The cottage itself whilst absolutely lovely I would say isnt child friendly for those who have just began their walking journey. The area and surrounding farm was beautiful and well kept. Ambience to suit alongside a working farm was a lovely break away. The nearby pubs are the bell inn and the red lion. Personally I would avoid these again and go for the ship inn as the food was divine along with the service. Giving the opportunity I would stay again. Weddings also held here would be treated to magnificent views and a wonderful setting for photos.

Lovely comfortable place to stay. Recently converted barn rooms have everything you need. Nice to get away and relax. Even though its on a working farm, its not noisy. Many local walks without having to drive. Local pubs, especially The Red Lion and The Ship have good atmosphere with staff and locals very friendly and accommodating. Overall, excellent place to stay
