Location is lovely, plenty of space for the kids to run around. The staff are really nice and friendly.
Academically the school is on another level. A low level. If your child is intelligent then they will not be challenged.
This schools ethos is all about helping the less able children to achieve at the expense of the more able. This is ideal if you want your child to achieve an average level of education.
The level of praise, Head Masters awards & star of the week etc are ridiculous to the point that half the kids get some kind of award each week.
The school always has vacancies, I now understand from bitter experience that it isn't due to the transient nature of the local demographic (being next to RAF Henlow) it is because people would rather send their children to a school with a more structured and driven philosophy on education.
Avoid.
