    After living at Carlton house for one and half years my experience is not good place some staff are rude.allways going out smoking.some time staff member are sat down cups tea when not break time . allway play on phone at work.some time hardy food in pantry.some staff member . make fun of residences.it old tired inside.but must tell you new home manager is fantastic.but hopefully sort it out and turn it around.i must say big thanks Michael j.and maz.try.and new manager.. regards Robert James Dawson

    Previous employee of Priory at Carlton house. Poorly managed (when the home actually has a manager that can stay in the job long enough) Most staff are lazy and seem to find excuses to go have a smoke outside. Many staff have on off relationships with each other and spend more time talking to each other in smoke shed than actually supporting residents. The staff seem to spend more time planning around their own day than actually planning around the service users activity planners, and doing what the resident wants. Staff make excuses to not do an activaty what the resident wants to do because it makes it easier on the staff member. The operations manager contacted me directly to get me to rejoin the company to make big changes to the service. After going through the process the deputy decided she didn't want me back as I reported the service to CQC and caused her stress when I worked there when I constantly reminded them on how support work should be and not how the lazy staff and management wanted it to be to make their lives easy. Plus management and staff constantly went against family wishes around the service and ignored what was best for the residents their. Avoid this company at all costs. The residents deserve better! Poorly run by staff and management
