Avoid at all costs, their communication is appalling, I had to employ a solicitor to get my deposit back as no one would answer my emails/messages/calls regarding my end of tenancy. Also landlords beware, in the 5 years I rented with these jokers they only carried out 2 inspections, they will take your money and do absolutely nothing. Any issues we had were generally ignored, or unqualified cowboys turned up at the house. AVOID

My family and I have recently moved out from a lovely apartment near Abbey Fields in Colchester which I rented out through Home Sales & Lettings. We were very happy there but it was our time to move on. HS&L were so helpful in securing this rental, it was all completed very promptly and smoothly. I was in contact with Graham throughout out tenancy and he helped us with all maintenance issues arising. We could not recommend his service enough; with all the other high street sales and lettings agencies you always speak to someone else and have to explain things twice, three times. I rented a flat with them for 2 years, I have always had a very positive response from Graham and Emily and the issues if there were any sorted out very quickly be it replacing a faulty machine, or any simple handyman jobs, plumbing, electric etc. I would gladly recommend them for any future property hunts/management.
