Great newly open pub! Lovely owners and stunning decor. Delicious food. Really lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Very good addition to appledore. We shall be back for sure.

The Black Lion in Appledore is one of our go to pub/eateries. We have eaten there probably 12 times this year and taken some of our relatives and friends there too. We had Christmas dinner there which was excellent , my wife said the portion sizes were a little on the large size but I helped her out so no problem. It may be changing hands early 2023
