        I stumbled across the cafe while it was pouring with rain on a trip in Appleby. It is such a lovely calm environment. The price for the quality and quantity of food is fantastic. I was made to feel comfortable and welcome by Helen - thank you so much :)

        Visited a while ago with my aging mum. They have a coffee machine but only offer filter coffee and tea, when asked about sandwich fillings only half of those on the menu were available and the attitude of the man behind the counter was not good. All in all a bad experience and I won't be returning. The Eden River Caf is far better in every way!
