Talk about being blown away by a venue!! Being in events I attended a wedding recently being quite skeptical of what to expect as my expectations are high but have to say it was one of the best events ever from the idyllic location, the food, service, staff - it was second to none. I can't rave enough about this place. So much better than your usual hotel venue. Such a memorable place to host your special event. I've already booked it for a big family birthday coming up and cannot wait to experience the place again - 5+++ stars for me

We had our wedding at The Cowshed this July Claire and Jamie were unbelievable! They were so accomodating and helpful, super easy to speak to about anything at anytime. They both went out of their way to do everything they could to make our day perfect. We planned our wedding whilst living overseas in Australia. Our parents had been to look around the venue but we didnt see it until a week beforehand. Its safe to say we were blown away when we did!! The set up is very intimate and personal, but at the same time theres a lot of space to work with. (We comfortably had around 120 guests in the evening.) Each section of the venue flows seamlessly into the other. We started by welcoming guests into the gardens, which are gorgeous. The perfect cottage garden setting for canaps, champagne and photographs. From there we moved through to the barn itself, which is already beautifully decorated with hessian drapes, fairy lights, willow and ivy hoops.. and lots of other elegant touches Claire has added. We had the barn zoned into a bar area, a dining area and a dance floor. In the evening our guests also spilled out into the courtyard, which again is a beautiful area. There are big wooden boxes of wildflowers, a fire pit with hay bales, and clusters of other seating arrangements. We stayed with our immediate family in the house. Comfortable and stylish accomodation + cooked breakfasts the next day definitely helped the recovery process!! As did the fact that Claire and Jamie had cleared the barn the night prior after we went to bed. For us The Cowshed was the perfect blend of lowkey and relaxed, meets elegant and classic. Liaising with Claire and Jamie was a pleasure and we are incredibly grateful for everything they did to make our wedding the best day ever Katie and Ali x

Wow!! Words cannot give enough praise and a big enough thank you to this couple. What can we say about Claire and Jay at Foxley Brow House!? It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn't have been the same without their tireless work and effort prior to and on our wedding day. Beyond just a stunning venue with incredible character, charm and look, the owners are quite simply amazing. Nothing was too much work, their creative ideas and suggestions were so on point and their level of care and dedication to every single aspect of the day was second to none. If you want a venue who will treat your wedding as if it were their own, the Cowshed at Foxley Brow House is beyond anything we have seen. Before the wedding we had many meetings about how we wanted the day to go. They knew exactly what we wanted from each supplier and where we wanted everything to go and how we wanted the day to run. Their organisation and professionalism ensured our day ran so smoothly and to say they met every expectation and more is an understatement. The barn, the gardens and the courtyard looked amazing. We had arrival drinks in the garden, which was a beautiful setting for us to enjoy with our guests. Then we went into the barn, which truly took our breathe away. The decor and setup of the space makes it such a great space to be in and really adds to the atmosphere of the day. In the evening the weather was still warm so our guests were able to enjoy the outdoor courtyard, where there was a fire pit, hay bales to sit on and garden games for them all to enjoy. Everyone is still telling us about how amazing the day was and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we could not be happier that we had our special day here. It is rare that you can say you have no regrets about anything but this is most definitely the case, thank you so much!
