I passed St Mary's almost daily for 4 months, patiently waiting to see any signs of life. 5 days after 'freedom day' the door was open! I was so glad, I had so much to pray about, last open door I passed through was in Charlbury Oxon in March. Two nice ladies diligently arranging flowers greeted me. I wanted the place to myself selfishly but under the circumstances of late I was willing to share! I opted for a seat next to the Sacred Virgin Mary mother's union space. How splendid our sacred mother looked under the stained glass windows that gave reverence to past local benefactors and the great. I love the original church pews, so many are selling off in favour of wooden fold up chairs. The main Alter gave me so much inspiration and hope of a better future for mankind (and woman). A church the presiding Reverend and congregation must be so proud of. There is clearly much going on in normal circumstances. Only thing I missed was a bench in the churchyard to sit and contemplate when the church is closed, however I could always sit on the back wall. (Oh and some matches to light a candle!)
