I used this company as they were the closet that I could find to where I am based on the Isle of Skye, albeit a 650 mile round trip. The initial help was excellent and the order process was easy. However my initial order was all cut out completely wrong with none of the grain running in the correct direction. This was blamed on confusion with the cutting list, however I was a wee bit alarmed that no one had noticed this during the manufacturing process. In fairness this was replaced at cost but I still had to do the 650 mile round trip to collect the replacements. I was relieved to find that this time the order was cut out with the grain running in the right direction. Sadly though when I started to assemble the cabinets I found that all the panels had been cut out between 1mm and 1.5mm too big. This resulted in me having to trim all the panels to fit a dusty and timely operation. I also found that none of the corner cupboard panels had been cut out anywhere near the dimensions and drawings that I had sent through. Some panels had also been damaged by the cutter used to cut the sheets out but packed anyway. I finally got the kitchen fitted and on attempting to fit the shelves I found that some fitted perfectly and others were too big. I had been assured that the measurements would be adjusted to allow for the edge banding, some had, others not??? I also found that some shelves were missing or cutout wrong as before. I did email the company again but Ive had no reply. Using this company has been an extremely costly mistake for myself at a time when I could little afford the thousands of pounds that I lost and also the valuable time. I had intended on using Lawcris in Leeds however they were further away a costly mistake that I wont repeat. I will most certainly use Lawcris in future and avoid these lot like the plague.
