Highly recommended. I travel from Crawley to get our cars serviced. No one better than Scott.

I do not recommend Scotts auto care, at all. I recommend people stay far away from this garage. My daughter took her 2008 vw golf to get a cambelt changed, that was done on time and everything seemed ok. After taking the car it did a total of 70 miles, and a bolt snapped, causing the engine to be completely damaged. Instead of taking ownership for his bad workmanship, he placed the responsibility on my daughter to fight with his suppliers (because if he did it he would be out of pocket) because he said it was their inferior parts that were fitted that were the problem (on his website their promise is that they pride the selves on honest reliable work, at reasonable rates using ONLY TOP QUALITY PARTS in the process). As a result my daughter then was left without any transport for roughly 10 weeks, and she then had to hire a car, at 500 a week, at her own expense. This argument went backwards and forwards for 3 weeks when he eventually decided to take responsibility. He took the car in and proceeded to repair the damage, by the sounds of it, the cylinder head and valves must have been damaged in the process, as the repair was to cost about 3200. This took another 2 weeks to get the part, which is fair enough, this can happen. When he eventually said the car was ready for collection, my son went to collect the car, and was rudely asked why he was there, the car was not ready. Scott proceeded to spin a story about how when they were testing the car, the wheel bearing had collapsed(this doesnt just happen without fair warning, it wont just spontaneously collapse) And that the turbo had (which was brand new) had blown upon further questioning Scott said that the turbo had ingested one of the mounting bolts. Which is not impossible, but its been running fine all the the time the new turbo was fitted before Scott got hold of it, and I stand to be corrected but to change the cylinder head, that had been damaged by his poor workmanship, the turbo would have to be removed, which in my mind suggests that it was at this point that the offending bolt would be loose and there for ingested by the turbo. But at the end of the day, its my word against his. In my opinion he was just taking advantage of a young naive woman who wouldnt know better, and just took total advantage of her circumstances.
