Poor service, complete lack of organisation in the restaurant. Informed by bearded waiter that a person cant queue for the Carvery to stop a queue forming for the Carvery. Considering the speed in which a customer is served here there are nothing but queues forming.

I am staying at the premier Inn next door so decided to go in to get some food. The guy working was extremely rude, his tone and mannerisms were awful so we left. It was quite disappointing considering the receptionist at the hotel was so welcoming, I was not expecting to be spoken to with such attitude and aggression when I just enquired about food and whether a takeaway burger was an option. The facial expressions and tone were enough for us to know when you're not wanted.

We arrived one Saturday lunchtime and the Roundstone was pretty much empty. There was one gentleman sitting drinking and two couples in the restaurant. We stood and waited to be seated thinking we should be seen to pretty quickly due to how quiet it was. After 5 minutes still we had not been seated so my husband went in search for someone , but no one was to be seen! After 10 minutes, just as we were going to leave, a scruffy looking man wearing slippers showed us to a table. There was no apology for keeping us waiting and no conversation. A young waitress came to take our order who was very pleasant. Our food was barely average, my Prawn Cocktail was tiny not worthy of the 7 and should have come with brown bread which it did not. My Chicken was also tiny and really dry, the coleslaw had a peculiar taste. My husband said his burger was not too bad but once again tiny! We will not be returning.
