Allwood Windows & Doors Ltd

Ive worked with Allwood Windows & Doors for a number of years as a supplier so I was aware of the quality and affordability of their windows so as you can imagine they were my first choice when looking to replace my wooden bathroom window. The window was installed a few years back in a small bathroom, we open it daily to help vent the shower steam so its opened and closed regularly, outside its south facing in direct sunlight for most of the day however the original paint looks like new and internally the hardware, catches and handles still work perfectly. I look forward to replacing more windows with Allwood in the future.

Company ran by crooks.. The Budgens are nothing more than dishonest, misleading con men. Avoid at all costs.

I wish I could give minus stars. I have been living with boarded up holes instead of windows for 17 weeks. AllWood told me repeatedly on the phone the quote was for survey, supply and fit but left my emails requesting confirmation unanswered. When the windows arrived, they were abandoned on site until I agreed to pay an additional 2k for installation. I was over a barrel. There were several trickle vents omitted and worse- some windows did not fit at all. After 5 weeks of arguments, AllWood agreed to replace these, but 12 weeks after that I still do not have them.

My 8 week lead time turned out to be 14. With no communication throughout the process. And when I had questions afterwards, my emails were ignored. Would definitely not recommend. Shocking how a business can run like this.

was very happy with my overall experience with this company, i have now used them 3 times for various building projects and everything came as it should and on time, and the office staff are very helpful
