Love this pub restaurant ..always so welcoming whether your in for a pint or a snack or a full blown meal you will always be treated well..and top marks for the food

My favourite local around here. Wonderful food (probably why it is so busy). Good choice of regular and guest beers. Lots of outdoor seating, table service works very well too. Can be crowded, it's so popular. Nice out of town spot. Quiz night on Sunday, if that's your thing. Looking a lot nicer now that summer's here and outdoor tables are feasible.

UPDATE: 28/04/2023 Still a pub with great pub food. Have to say that hilst the 'steak' element of my most recent mixed grill, could have been a better cut, it was still well cooked and tasty. We've not had a bad plate of food in all the times we've eaten here. Sensible pricing, too. Nice little Green King pub, which does nice food. Near to the Charlton and Anton Lakes.

Nice little Green King pub, which does nice food. Near to the Charlton and Anton Lakes.
